This walk will last about 4 hours (more or less 3 for the Museums and 1 for St. Peter), although much will depend on the season. It is a journey in the journey, from Rome to inside the Vatican, to discover a little more about the history of this ancient and mysterious place. The history of the Western World is represented here, from pagan times to Catholicism. Invaluable masterpieces encounter from different cultures (Egyptian, Hellenistic, Etruscan and Christian to name a few) and breathtaking views will be seen throughout the entire experience. The tour is designed for all those who want to immerse themselves in this beauty, learn facts from history and understand better the ideas of monuments and paintings placed in the Vatican Museums. It starts inside the Vatican Museums and ends inside St. Peter’s Basilica, in front of the most famous altar in the world. Everyone can take part, the only risk is the Stendhal syndrome!
